Fictional Map for The Great Upside Down Land
I’ve lived in the Great Upside Down Land for the past year. I didn’t move here by choice, but last March around this time everything changed abruptly and I found myself planted here. Originally, the Great Upside Down Land was much smaller. The All The Things Supermarket was the main attraction — highlight of the week, even. Sometimes there would be an occasional escape to the Mountains + Tree Friends.
Months and months have gone by and I’ve realized that The Great Upside Down Land can lull residents into routine, making the world feel even smaller. Yesterday, I journeyed across this map to Lake Despair only to find it wasn’t Lake Despair anymore — it was just the ocean. The ocean from years ago.
